Successful event “Paraguay – Gateway to South America” held in Ljubljana

On October 1, 2025, the World Trade Center Ljubljana hosted the event “Paraguay – Gateway to South America”, organized by the IVEJM Institute for International Cooperation in collaboration with CIVIS Real Estate Solutions and AŽ&MB NERAD d.o.o.
The aim of the event was to showcase Paraguay’s economic, cultural, and investment opportunities, highlighting the country’s macroeconomic stability, the dynamism of its real estate market, and the growing international interest in urban development projects in Paraguay.
The event was opened by lawyer Duška Kondić, who welcomed distinguished representatives from Slovenian authorities, the diplomatic corps, and the business community.
Following the opening, José Miguel Estigarribia Villasanti, economist and founder of the IVEJM Institute, delivered a presentation titled “Paraguay: Land of Opportunities”, where he emphasized the country’s sustained growth and its potential as a strategic destination for foreign investment.
Mr. Milan Nerad, representative of CIVIS in Slovenia and director of AŽ&MB NERAD d.o.o., presented the company’s international experience and underscored the increasing interest of European investors in the Paraguayan real estate sector.
The highlight of the evening was the keynote presentation by architect Kevin Bendlin, director of CIVIS Real Estate Solutions, who shared the innovative vision behind projects such as Civis X and Civis Mariscal, both emblematic examples of sustainable urban development in Paraguay.
The cultural segment featured performances by Agata Gojkošek and Melita Estigarribia Villasanti, who delighted the audience with traditional Paraguayan music, adding a warm artistic touch to the evening.
The event concluded with a Paraguayan gastronomic experience, allowing guests to enjoy authentic flavors while engaging in valuable networking opportunities among representatives of both countries.
