The event featured opening remarks by H.E. Ms. Tina Vodnik, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, who emphasized the importance of strengthening Slovenia’s presence in Paraguay and fostering new commercial, cultural, and academic opportunities.
Christian Cieplik, President of SloPar, presented the strategic vision of the Chamber, highlighting its mission to promote business development, facilitate investments, and build bridges between the productive sectors of both countries.

A highly symbolic milestone occurred during the ceremony: the signing of the founding act of the Slovenian–Paraguayan Chamber of Commerce (SLOPAR).In the featured photograph, Attorney Mario Paz and Economist José Miguel Estigarribia Villasanti, Founder of IVEJM, appear as the first signatories of the foundational document, marking the official establishment of the Chamber.
